Naut'sa Mawt, located in Courtenay, BC, is a five-story residential development commissioned by Kinetic Construction. Luttec was responsible for creating comprehensive shop drawings for the entire framing, including walls and floors.
In addition to the shop drawings, Luttec produced model-based material takeoffs for the framing components, which included a dedicated schedule for sheathing. This approach facilitated efficient procurement processes and helped minimize risks associated with material shortages or discrepancies.
By leveraging BIM technology, the team delivered precise and detailed shop drawings that are essential for a large-scale residential project, ensuring that all components fit together seamlessly.
Furthermore, discrepancy reports were generated to identify and flag issues across architectural and structural drawings, ensuring that all potential conflicts were addressed before construction commenced. The collaborative efforts in the Naut'sa Mawt project contributed to a well-organized and successful development.
