Project Description: North Starwood Residence
The North Starwood Residence, situated in the picturesque setting of Aspen, Colorado, is a comprehensive project that encompasses architectural design, detailing, and meticulous project management.
The primary objective was to ensure compliance with all building codes while facilitating coordination with local authorities through a complete building permit set. The project team worked closely with various consultants and the contractor to align their efforts and ensure a smooth construction process.
To maintain the project's budgetary integrity, a round of value engineering was conducted, allowing for adjustments that preserved quality while optimizing costs. Regular OAC (owner, architect, contractor) meetings were held to guarantee that all stakeholders remained informed and engaged throughout the project's progression.
Ultimately, a 100% construction documentation (CD) set was produced, providing a comprehensive blueprint for successful execution and alignment with the project's goals.
