Infinity Properties

Located in Abbotsford, BC, the Rail District Lot 7 project for Infinity Properties is a significant 8-storey mixed-use development. Featuring residential and commercial spaces, the concrete and wood-frame structure includes two levels of underground parking, establishing a new landmark within the Rail District master plan.


Comprehensive BIM services were provided for the entire design scope, including the creation of detailed 3D models for all major disciplines. By developing these systems in a coordinated virtual environment, discrepancies between designs were proactively identified. This process ensures a more integrated and constructible set of documents before construction begins.

The completed models were aggregated within a cloud BIM platform to facilitate advanced clash detection and project coordination. Key areas of focus included parkade clearances, interfaces with adjacent scopes, complex roof structures, and the resolution of MEP systems within tight architectural cavities and dropped ceilings.


Strategic planning and training were provided to onboard the Infinity Properties team onto BIM processes and platforms. This approach established a robust BIM workflow to maximize value throughout the project lifecycle. Empowering the client and consultants with these tools set the stage for enhanced collaboration and efficiency for all subsequent project phases.
